At Namence, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality hosting services while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our customers. This Abuse Policy outlines prohibited activities and explains how to report abuse on our network or platform.
All services provided by Namence, including but not limited to shared hosting, VPS hosting, domain registration, and email services, are subject to this policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our services:
2.1 Illegal Content and Activities
- Hosting, distributing, or linking to content that violates Nepalese or international laws
- Copyright infringement, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials
- Distribution of child exploitation material or content promoting harm to minors
- Content related to illegal drugs, gambling operations not legally permitted, or fraudulent goods/services
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech against individuals or groups
2.2 System and Network Abuse
- Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems, or networks, including attempts to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities
- Interference with service to any user, host, or network, including denial of service attacks, deliberate overloading of a service, or attempts to "crash" a host
- Forging any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or newsgroup posting
- Using our services to distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Using our services for phishing activities or identity theft
2.3 Spam and Unsolicited Messages
- Sending unsolicited bulk emails (SPAM) from or through our network
- Operating a mail server that relays mail without the express permission of the recipient
- Hosting or promoting services or content designed for bulk messaging
- Harvesting email addresses or personal information for sending unsolicited communications
2.4 Resource Abuse
- Using excessive amounts of server resources that disrupt or degrade the normal operation of our services
- Running stand-alone, unattended server-side processes on shared hosting platforms
- Running bit torrent applications, public proxies, or IRC bots on shared hosting platforms
- Using shared hosting plans primarily as a file/media storage repository
3. Reporting Abuse
We take all reports of abuse seriously and will investigate each report promptly. If you have discovered content or activities that violate this policy, please report it immediately through one of the following channels:

3.2 Information to Include
When reporting abuse, please include the following information to help us investigate efficiently:
- Your contact information (name, email address, phone number)
- Nature of the abuse
- When the abuse occurred (date and time)
- Where the abuse is located (URL, IP address, domain name)
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, email headers, log files)
- For copyright complaints, your relationship to the content (e.g., copyright owner)
4. Our Response Process
Once we receive a report of abuse, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt of your report within 24 hours
- Investigate the complaint to determine whether a violation has occurred
- Contact the alleged violator to request information or compliance
- Take appropriate action based on our findings
- Notify the reporting party of the outcome
5. Consequences of Violations
If we determine that a customer has violated this Abuse Policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning and request for immediate remediation
- Remove or disable access to the offending content
- Temporarily suspend the account or specific services
- Terminate the account permanently for severe or repeated violations
- Report illegal activities to relevant law enforcement authorities
- Impose additional fees or charges for remediation costs
6. False Reports
Filing intentionally false or misleading reports of abuse is a violation of this policy. Repeated false reporting may result in action against the reporting party's account, up to and including termination.
7. Policy Updates
This Abuse Policy may be revised from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. By continuing to use our services after any revisions take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised policy.
